Indications: infiltration, conduction, epidural and spinal anaesthesia, intraosseous anaesthesia, anaesthesia of the mucous membranes (in ENT practice); vagosympathetic and pararenal block. Circular and paravertebral blocks in eczema, neurodermatitis and sciatica.
Intravenous: to potentiate the action of the main general anaesthetics; to relieve pain of various origins.
Intramuscular: to dissolve penicillin in order to prolong its duration of action; as an adjunct in certain diseases more common in older age, including endarteritis, atherosclerosis, arterial hypertension, spasm of the coronary and cerebral vessels, and joint diseases of rheumatic and infectious origin
