How we arrange the delivery of medicines from Germany

The delivery of medicines from Germany to Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and other countries is the core focus of our work. We arrange the purchase and delivery of medicines from Germany at licensed pharmacies. On this page you will find detailed information about the methods and timeframes for delivering medicines from Germany.

We are not an online pharmacy and do not sell medicines directly. Our task is to help you obtain the medicines you need from Germany by legal means, taking into account the requirements of the legislation of Germany and of the recipient’s country. If you are placing an order for the first time, we recommend that you read the section «Order».

After we receive your request, we check the doctor’s prescription, confirm the availability of the medicines in German pharmacies and inform you of the cost of the order and of the delivery of medicines from Germany. To place an order, a prescription or a detailed written medical instruction from a doctor is required. If you do not have a prescription or a medical instruction, you can send us an extract from your medical history. Our doctors will review it and issue a prescription for the required medicine in accordance with the applicable rules.

All medicines are purchased only at licensed pharmacies in Germany. Parcels are shipped to all countries via Deutsche Post. For every parcel we provide a tracking number with which you can follow the route of the shipment. More about how to select the right medicine is explained in the section «Search for medicines».

Ways to receive orders when delivering medicines from Germany

We offer several options for receiving medicines ordered from Germany — choose the one that is most convenient for you.

Self-pickup in Germany

You can collect the ordered medicines in person at a location in Germany agreed with us. We will inform you of the date, time and address in advance. Self-pickup is especially convenient if you are in Germany on business, for treatment or visiting, and wish to receive your order in person.

Delivery to airports

By prior arrangement, orders can be brought to certain airports in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and other neighbouring countries. In particular, we can hand over an order in the areas of the Cologne/Bonn, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main, Brussels and Dortmund airports, and others. The exact conditions, place and time of handover are always agreed individually.

Postal delivery of medicines from Germany to various countries

For clients who cannot receive their order in person, we arrange postal delivery of medicines from Germany. Medicines can be shipped to many countries: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Armenia and other states where the shipment of medicinal products for personal use is permitted.

Shipping is carried out, as a rule, via Deutsche Post / DHL Group. For some countries, additional logistics solutions may be used where this is appropriate and does not contravene the law. General information about the categories of medicines permitted for shipment can be found, for example, on the websites of your country’s national healthcare regulators.

Timeframes for delivering medicines from Germany

Postal delivery of medicines from Germany to Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova usually takes from 9 to 14 working days from the moment of dispatch. The exact timeframe depends on the remoteness of the region and the chosen shipping tariff.

Delivery to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Armenia, Turkmenistan and to the Russian Far East usually takes up to 18–24 working days. The stated timeframes are approximate: they may be affected by seasonal load, public holidays, and the workload of customs and local postal services. More about the timeframes and the specifics of the operation of Deutsche Post can be read on the operator’s official website

The delivery of parcels containing orders to the countries of the European Union is also carried out taking into account the rules of the country of destination. We provide the cost, timeframes and available methods for delivering medicines from Germany to other states individually in response to your message or request.

Tracking shipments of medicines from Germany

On the invoice we indicate the websites and platforms for tracking postal shipments. First, information about the parcel appears in the Deutsche Post system. After the parcel is handed over to the national carrier (e.g., Russian Post, Kazpost, Belpost, Nova Poshta and other Ukrainian services), its movement can be tracked on the carrier’s website or in international tracking systems.

Please follow the recommendations set out in the invoice and check the status of the parcel on the websites indicated there. However, delays in status updates are possible, especially while passing through customs. You will find more practical information about how to use the tracking number and what the statuses mean on the website of your national postal service.

Restrictions and important conditions for the delivery of medicines from Germany

When arranging the delivery of medicines from Germany, we are obliged to comply with the applicable legislation and the rules of the postal operators. Please read the important information carefully:

  • We have no ability to influence the speed of the postal services or the time it takes to clear customs in your country. Any delays at these stages are beyond our control.

  • We cannot guarantee the absence of inspections, openings or additional checks by customs. The decision to allow a parcel through is made by the customs authority of the recipient’s country.

  • We do not arrange the transfer of medicines through casual travellers, «informal opportunities» or illegal delivery channels. The delivery of medicines from Germany is carried out only by official and proven means.

  • In certain countries and regions there are restrictions on the shipment of particular medicines, especially hormonal, psychotropic and potent ones. In such cases we warn the client in advance and, where possible, offer alternatives.

Delivery of medicines from Germany to EU countries

For clients from the countries of the European Union, the delivery of medicines from Germany is, as a rule, simpler and faster than to non-European states. In a number of cases, shipping via DHL with shorter delivery times is possible. In each specific case we agree the optimal delivery method with you.

How to place an order for the delivery of medicines from Germany

To place an order for the delivery of medicines from Germany, follow a few simple steps.

Step 1. Prepare the doctor’s prescription

We require a prescription or a detailed written instruction from your attending doctor. It must state the name of the medicine, the dosage, the dosage form, the regimen and the duration of the course. This is needed so that we can select the exact medicine or the closest possible analogue in German pharmacies and make sure that the ordered medicines are genuinely intended for you.

Step 2. Send us a request

Send us a scanned prescription or medical instruction and briefly describe to which country and by which method you plan to receive the parcel: post, self-pickup, handover near an airport, and so on. If you have preferences for particular brands or dosage forms, be sure to state this in your request.

Based on the information from the doctor and your wishes, we will check the availability of the medicines and calculate the approximate cost. We will then offer possible options for delivering medicines from Germany. For convenience, you can use the feedback form on the «Contacts».

Step 3. Confirmation and payment

After the list of medicines, their cost and the delivery method have been agreed, we will send you a final calculation and the payment details. The order is paid for in euros; in certain cases alternative payment options are possible, which can be clarified when you contact us.

As soon as the payment has been credited, we purchase the medicines at the pharmacy, make up the parcel and prepare the documents for dispatch. At this stage the practical part of delivering medicines from Germany to your country begins.

Step 4. Dispatch and receipt of the parcel

After the parcel has been dispatched from Germany, we will provide you with a tracking number. You will be able to follow the movement of the shipment in the Deutsche Post / DHL system, and then on the website of the national postal service or in international tracking.

Please collect the parcel from the office on time. In the event of prolonged storage, the shipment may be returned to the sender or disposed of under the rules of the postal service.

Important information

Please note a few important points related to delivery:

  • Deutsche Post / DHL Group mail and DHL Express should not be confused — these are different services with different operating rules and restrictions.

  • Please do not request delivery by the EMS express service: within Germany the EMS (Express Mail Service) does not operate.

  • We cannot speed up delivery times: every parcel undergoes at least two customs checks — in Germany and in the recipient’s country.

  • We understand that medicines are often needed urgently, but we cannot influence the speed of the postal and customs services.

  • We do not guarantee exact delivery times but provide the approximate transit time stated on the Deutsche Post website.

  • After the parcel has been handed over to a Deutsche Post branch, responsibility for its safety and delivery times passes to the chosen carrier.

  • We do not have couriers who could fly out specially with orders, and we have no way of using informal «opportunities» to take medicines out. We work only within the permitted rules.

  • We do not ship thermolabile medicines by post in thermal containers. Such medicines require special transport conditions that ordinary postal services cannot provide.

  • If the recipient does not collect the parcel and it is returned to us, re-shipment is possible after arrangement with you.
